Colleen M. Dolcy, Esq. grew up in Ocean County and graduated in 1994 from Toms River High School North. She went on to attend Loyola University in Maryland and graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. During her Junior year of college, Ms. Dolcy studied at the University of Newcastle in New Castle upon Tyne, England.

After her first year of law school, Ms. Dolcy attended a Summer abroad program studying the International Courts in Europe, during which she was instructed by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia on Separation of Powers. During her third year of law school, Ms. Dolcy completed a law clinic with the United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District New York, Brooklyn, in which she prosecuted federal criminal misdemeanors. At this time, Ms. Dolcy was also a law clerk at the Law Office of Jan V. Farensbach, New York, New York. In May of 2002, Ms. Dolcy graduated from Brooklyn Law School with her Doctorate of Jurisprudence.

In 2003, Ms. Dolcy was licensed and admitted to the New Jersey and New York State Bars. Ms. Dolcy is a member in Good Standing of both Bars.
